Rep. Loretta Sanchez to offer College Financial Aid Workshops in January

Garden Grove, Calif. -- Congresswoman Loretta Sanchez (CA-46) will offer a series of free college financial aid workshops at six high schools across Orange County in January. Academic advisors and college representatives will provide students and parents with information about the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) process and other scholarship opportunities. Rep. Sanchez also held a workshop at Segerstrom High School in Santa Ana on December 3, 2014.

"Education is synonymous with opportunity and I believe every child deserves the opportunity to learn, work hard and succeed in our society," said Rep. Sanchez. "Unfortunately, the cost of college often stands between a bright young high school student and their chance at success. That is why I make it a priority to connect Orange County students to resources that make college affordable, including scholarships and the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form."
